Clinical Dietitian – RD and CDE required, full-time. Legacy is seeking a fulltime licensed, registered dietitian with CDE certification (certified diabetes educator) for Legacy’s clinical sites. This position provides direct patient care as a clinical dietitian, including nutritional assessments, meal planning, counseling and education as appropriate to deliver individualized nutrition therapy. Billing Supervisor – Legacy is seeking a Billing Supervisor. This position is responsible for managing a team of billing specialists to maintain and/or create patient accounts within medical software program. The position also reviews patient insurance policy information and works with providers to obtain authorization and referrals. Fluently bilingual in English and Spanish required.
Internal Communications Director – Legacy is seeking an Internal Communications Director to develop, drive and maintain a high-energy, comprehensive employee communications strategy. This position will conceptualize, plan, and implement ongoing employee programs and special employee events that directly involve and engage employees and increase overall employee satisfaction. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism or related field and 3-5 years experience in public relations, community relations or employee communications environments. Bilingual English and Spanish a plus.
Administrative Assistant – Legacy is seeking an Administrative Assistant for our Human Resources Department. The position will be responsible for carrying out clerical and administrative support, assisting in employment verification and background checks as well as providing assistance in all meetings and committee functions within Human Resources. Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills required. 1 year experience and fluency in both Spanish and English preferred.
Performance Improvement Coordinator – Legacy is seeking a full-time Performance Improvement Coordinator to review and collect data from patient records, compile data and summarize findings for presentation to department directors, enroll and serve as co-facilitator in focus groups and community advisory board meetings, and assist with patient satisfaction surveys and conduct follow-ups as required. A minimum of 2 years of quality improvement work experience and bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
Risk Compliance Manager – Legacy is seeking a Risk Compliance Manager to develop and administer risk management program for quality care and risk-free services. This position will maintain awareness of legislative and regulatory activities related to health care risk management and disseminate information to appropriate parties. The position will also create and modify policies to comply with legislation, HIPAA, OSHA, funding source standards and best practices in the industry and conduct trainings to ensure compliance is achieved through all governing bodies. Bachelors degree required; bilingual preferred (English and Spanish).
General Operations Assistant – Legacy is seeking an Operations Assistant to prioritize, schedule and complete repairs to general equipment and facility fixtures as appropriate, assist in the delivery of general operations equipment and office furniture, and verify all requested repairs are necessary and approve parts orders as needed. Bilingual fluency in Spanish preferred.
Clinical Applications Manager – Legacy is seeking a Clinical Applications Manager to support the implementation, maintenance and ongoing optimization and evaluation of the Electronic Medical Record and other HIT systems in a dynamic community health center. Bachelor’s degree and three years of related experience in a complex information environment OR currently licensed healthcare professional with one or more years of HIT or management experience.
Program Manager for Evaluation, Research, and Assessment – Legacy is seeking a professional to plan and implement all phases of healthcare evaluation and research studies, including study design, sampling, quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis, and reporting. This position will write proposals and applications for evaluation, research, and assessment projects, including the development of project design, timelines, staffing, and budgets. Any combination of education, training, and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, and successful experience in designing and implementing evaluation, research, and/or assessment projects is required.
ADAP Coordinator – Bilingual coordinator for ADAP (AIDS Drug Assistance Program) to facilitate the application process for long-term medication assistance through ADAP and Pharmaceutical assistance programs. Other duties include client record-keeping and reporting, maintenance and updating of files and computer records, collaborate and build work relationships with ADAP staff and Walgreens Pharmacy. The ADAP Coordinator should be familiar with HIV treatment protocols and medication resources appropriate to the HIV community. MS Excel and Outlook skills and have a high school diploma or GED required.
Administrative Assistant – for the Behavioral Health and Social Services department. This position will be responsible for general office duties, data entry, ordering office supplies, attending meetings and taking minutes, coordinating Behavioral Health medication refills, and other duties as assigned. Should have knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, at least 2 years experience working in an office or clinical setting, and a high school diploma or GED.
Administrative Assistant – for Program Development. Responsibilities include providing data entry, general office and administrative support for grants processing, work internally with program, finance, and legal staff to structure and complete processing of grant application requirements, provide administrative support for Chief of Program Development, maintain schedule for Senior Management of Program Development, attend meetings and take minutes, prepare reports, and maintain corporate records. Should have strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Should have 3 years of experience and extensive knowledge of MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Publisher.
Clinical Applications Manager – this full-time position will support the implementation, maintenance and ongoing optimization and evaluation of the Electronic Medical Record and other HIT systems in a dynamic community health center. Requires a bachelor’s degree and 3 years of related experience in a complex information environment or a currently licensed healthcare professional with one or more years of HIT or management experience. Experience in an outpatient or ambulatory environment is preferred. Should have an HIT Certification within 12 months of employment. Should be able to travel between clinics and work on call after hours and weekends.
Eligibility Specialist – Legacy is seeking a bilingual Eligibility Specialist for our Southwest Clinic who has availability for an early shift of 7:30 am on weekdays. Should be able to perform patient registration, sliding scale, and eligibility for all clinical programs and other state programs, should ensure that clients do not have another payer source, perform data entry of clients into the electronic system, and conduct renewal eligibility. This position requires strong organizational skills, flexible work schedule, some medical knowledge, and a high school diploma or GED.
Medical Assistant – Legacy is seeking a certified Medical Assistant for Pediatrics for our Southwest clinic. This position includes preparing patients for examination and treatment, preparing exam and treatment rooms, assisting the provider in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals, as well as performing selected clinical and administrative duties. Knowledgeable in ICD9, CPT, and HCPCS coding and managed care contracts. Degree from an accredited program for Medical Assistants required.
