Make your Voice heard through the Legacy Advocacy Project


Why Advocate?


We are an aggressive advocate at the city, state, and federal levels for fair and effective HIV related policies and access to quality health care. Through our public policy efforts, we support and promote policies for HIV prevention, family planning, treatment and care for people living with HIV/AIDS and  quality health care for Texans. 

monitoring and analyzing emerging issues and developing public policy positions;

directly influencing executive and legislative government policies and procedures;

participate and lead community coalitions;

mobilizing the community to help shape public policy;
