David Chou joins Legacy with a wealth of experience in health care IT and a proven track record spanning two decades of driving innovation while delivering state-of-the-art solutions. Prior to Legacy, he served as Harris Health System’s Senior Vice President and CIO, leading the strategic planning for all technology initiatives across the organization.

Chou’s global experience in executive roles includes Luye Medical Group (Shanghai, China); Children’s Mercy Hospital (Kansas City, Mo.); the University of Mississippi Medical Center (Jackson, Miss.); Cleveland Clinic (Abu Dhabi, UAE); and AHMC Healthcare (Alhambra, Calif.).

After earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from California State University, Long Beach, Chou earned a Master’s in Healthcare Management from California State University, Los Angeles. He also received a certification from Harvard Business School for Managing Healthcare Delivery.

Chou enjoys Houston’s food scene, the diversity of our city, and having two airports to travel easily with his wife and three daughters. He’s also an avid golfer.
