Jill Jahns serves as Legacy’s Health Navigation Director, where she oversees activities related to HIV testing, prevention, and transitioning to treatment. She directs teams of public health educators and health navigation specialists while cultivating relationships with community partners, organizational staff, and healthcare leaders to coordinate health programs.

At the beginning of her career with Legacy, Jill worked as a patient educator and is still driven by a passion for community development and empowering people to live their healthiest lives.

She received her Master of Public Health with a concentration in Health Promotion and Community Health Sciences from Texas A&M University. Jill also graduated from Austin College where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Communications.

Jill is a lifelong Texan with a love of traveling and fostering animals. She currently resides in Houston with her husband, and pets Jorgen (cat) and Pearl (dog).
