Josh Davis serves as Legacy’s Vice President of Development (East Region) and has been with Legacy for eight years. Before assuming the role, Josh served as the Site Director for Legacy’s two Beaumont facilities Central Stagg and Central Beaumont before joining the Development team in 2019.

Through his leadership in Beaumont, Josh has recruited prominent members of the community to help Legacy respond to the region’s diverse needs. He has also been instrumental in building relationships with Beaumont’s United Way, the Beaumont Independent School District, and the Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce.

As Vice President of Development (East Region), Josh will lead Legacy’s fundraising efforts in Beaumont, including a $15 million capital campaign “Building Healthy Families in Southeast Texas,” and continues to play a crucial role in building Legacy’s presence in the community. His responsibilities include procuring major gifts, federal and state grants, managing special events, as well as procuring corporate and foundational support for Legacy.

Josh graduated from Lamar University where he obtained his bachelor’s in sociology as well as a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Public Health.

In his spare time, he enjoys loving on his pets, spoiling his niece and two nephews, and traveling the world on a cruise ship with his husband, Thomas.
