The best doctors and nurses all over Houston, we think, must understand the culture of the communities they serve. This includes the financial and social situations people live in – which contribute to a person’s health and ability to get medical treatment.

A new survey, found here, asks about your experiences seeing a family doctor, going to the emergency room, or a clinic – anywhere you have seen a doctor or nurse in Houston over the past year or two. Do health care providers understand, or even care about, the community in which you and your families live, work, and go to school?
